Who We Are

Shoppe 3130 is a local non profit ministry.

We offer hope and self esteem to women in the CSRA through Christ-centered life and job skills training, professional suiting, and community resourcing.

Our desire is to be part of breaking the cycle of poverty, especially generational poverty, in the lives of women in our city.

We opened our doors to the public in March of 2009.

There are several phases of this ministy we call Shoppe 3130.
We are currently in phase 2, which happens to be the longest and one of the most important phases.

Phase 1

Open the store as a Boutique style thrift store.

Promote the ministry throughout the community and begin to build relationships with women in the CSRA. “Test the water to make sure our boat actually floats”

Develop relationships with other non profits that serve women who are returning to work or entering the workforce for the first time.

Phase 2

Secure funding for the job readiness program.

Develop partnerships with local agencies for professional suiting.

Introduce the Job Readiness Program and begin suiting women in professional attire.

Phase 3

Hire a full time Director. Begin exploring the possibility of beginning a  satellite site in our area.

Phase 4

Begin exploring a Job readiness program for men.

Begin exploring beginning a satellite site outside of the CSRA.
